Figure Study for The Listeners and two Head Studies for 手机虚拟专用网络设置 

Sketched on page 29 of Bartlett’s 1996 Sketchbook are one of the three figures in The Listeners and two head studies of the model for Goddess.

The figure for The Listeners, which becomes the far right figure in the finished painting, is depicted in a similar pose as in the finished piece and wears the same wardrobe and glasses. A few modifications the artist makes from this sketch to the completed painting is the positioning of the white cane the figure holds and the location of the full moon above the figure’s head.

The two female head drawings are for Goddess and the artist utilized the top drawing for a similar pose in the final painting.
